Hi, my name is Victoria Fragoso...
Hi, my name is Victoria Fragoso, and I'm a piano-based singer-songwriter from Tacoma, Washington. I draw inspiration from my Hispanic roots, classical piano training, church choir harmonies, and musical theater background. My music is sure to resonate with fans of Vanessa Carlton, Sia, and Regina Spektor with its diverse range of influences and emotional vocals.
After over a decade of honing my craft through open mic performances, I released my first EP, "This River," in 2019, which was inspired by my daughter's premature birth. This experience gave me the courage to share my music with the world, and I continue to pour my heart and soul into every song that I create.
As a graduate of Chapman University's Creative Writing program and a lover of special effects makeup, I use my artistry and imagination to bring my music to life through online content and music videos. Throughout the pandemic, I have connected with other artists and music lovers through live stream shows and my weekly talk show "Tuesday with Toya," where I interview independent artists and showcase my songs on keys and ukulele.
My latest release with band Ghost in Glass, " Slo Mo ", speaks to the importance of appreciating what we have while we have it. I'm constantly exploring and refining my sound through production, which you can hear in the music I've released since 2019. I am excited to share my music with you in person, with upcoming shows at venues like McMenamins Spanish Ballroom and Sleight of Hand Cellars in Washington state. Let's make some magic together on this musical journey! And don't forget to catch me on "Tuesday with Toya" on Instagram (@toyamakesmusic) where you can hear more of my unique sound and connect with the community of artists I'm proud to be a part of.
